Activities

Support 4 Change organise group activities to let members unwind and relax for a day in a safe environment with other people who have or are undergoing similar experiences.

Whitby steps

Whitby on the north Yorkshire coast has let group members wander this beautiful fishing port steeped in history. From the Abbey, Captain Cook museum, to the landing place of Bram Stoker’s infamous Count Dracula!

North Yorkshire Moors Railway

Another favourite has been a trip on the North Yokshire Moors Railway. Where group members can relax turning back the clock to the romantic days of steam, whilst travelling through the scenic views of the North Yorkshire Moors.

Whitby’s Fish Restaurant

You don’ have to go to Whitby to enjoy the taste of fish and chips! Whitby’s Fish Restaurant in Doncaster provides a great atmosphere to enjoy this British staple.

The group has met and enjoyed cosy evenings in comfortable and relaxed surroundings with great food and lively conversation.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Yorkshire Wildlife Park has proved to be a great day out, with nearly 400 animals and 70 different species of animal, Yorkshire Wildlife Park is a fantastic place to experience a truly breathtaking walk-through wildlife adventure. Most of the animals at the park are either endangered or threatened, Yorkshire Wildlife Park work closely with charities to help the conservation of endangered species in the wild and captivity.

Before an activity is decided upon, it’s up to the group to decide where we go or what we do. This insures everyone has the opportunity to put forward a suggestion.
